TEXT OF ORDER OF THE BOILED EGG

Whereas - whereby - wherever and moreover,

We, Us, The People, do realise, recognise,

and

otherwise

perceive

the

valuable

and

inestimbubble-bubble services to the cause of this

Nation, Empire, the Allies, our Guests the German

Prisoners in our midst, and also the doubtful men of

the Land of Ire, rendered by YOU, Georgius Huttonius,

- Honourable Officer of the Bodyguard of Pilate of the

Paunch.

Inasmuchas YOU did, with great cunning, provide

Nutriment, Lubrication, and Other Joys to many

overworked and overpaid officers of our Victorious

Army, whilst theses were undergoing the painful

process of having much Knowledge worked into their

systems. All this did you do – and more also - with

great Economy and Satisfaction.

As some slight token of our Esteem and Commendation,

We Hereby - Herewith, & By These Presents, Do Confer,

Bestow, and Generally Unload upon

YOU, Georgius Huttonius, the Most

Excellent, and Much-to-be-Coveted

+ ORDER OF THE BOILED EGG + to

be yours, to have and to hold, in

sickness and in health, in joy and

in sorrow, till death do you part, or

the Insignia of the Order comes and

crash!
